My handout for the 2014 AEJMC Magazine/VisCom Teaching Tips Marathon.

This year I was able to serve on the Magazine & Visual Communication divisions’ teaching tips marathon session at AEJMC 2014.

I talked about how to train writers and designers to think graphically. The big point is that you have to tear down the silos we build in the classroom and make designers, writers, and photographers talk to each other. Novel idea, right?
